Having previously led the MCA business, delivering cutting edge insight to the foodservice sector, for over 10 years, Simon now provides strategic advice and analysis and forecasts for the future of the foodservice industry, with the launch of a new report for 2019 describing the key factors and drivers for change for the period 2025 to 2030. Simon has been working within foodservice all his career, with a degree in Hotel & Catering Management, running hotels with THF and Forte, working with Pret A Manger helping them to grow from 12 stores to 80 in the 1990’s, before moving into marketing and development roles with Compass, taking a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing. Simon started working with Allegra Strategies in 2007, prior to the sale of the Allegra Foodservice business to William Reed Business Media in 2013, and then creating the MCA business in 2014 as the leading provider of market intelligence for the eating and drinking out market.
