Brian worked as a chef in places like the Savoy in London before joining Brunning and Price as a Manager and left as a Director.  14 years ago, he set up Whiting and Hammond which is a small award winning independent pub group in the heart of the Kent, Sussex & Surrey.  He started in September 2003 with the Chaser Inn, Tonbridge and have grown to 8 operations in the last 14 years, we tend to take on failed sites and turn them around into great venues for people to meet, eat, drink and enjoy themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. Over the years Whiting and Hammond have won numerous awards for their operations including, Tourism and Hospitality, Employer of The Year, Star Pub of the Year and Top 50 Gastro Pub Award.  It has been fantastic for the whole crew to receive such great accolades for their hard work, they are truly proud of the company they work for.  Also, along with running pubs Brian’s passion is rugby and Liverpool F.C. plus you can’t forget cooking! They are very proud to have been acknowledged within the Industry as leaders in their category
