What is Casual Dining?

Casual Dining is the award-winning trade show dedicated to the casual dining sector. Casual Dining 2019 will feature over 200 hand-picked quality food, drink, technology, equipment and table-top exhibitors and is the annual meeting place for the industry.

When is the show?

Wednesday 27 February 2019: 10am – 5pm

Thursday 28 February 2019: 10am – 5pm

Last entry is 4pm on both days.

Where is Casual Dining?

Casual Dining will be moving to a brand new home of ExCeL, London.

Where can I find more information about travel and accommodation near ExCeL?

The casual dining industry will unite at the award-winning ExCeL London which has numerous cafes, restaurants, hotels and transport links on its doorstep.

By rail or tube: In 2018 the brand new Elizabeth Line will make it easier, faster and more convenient to get to ExCeL. ExCeL will have its own onsite Elizabeth line station at Custom House.
By car: Easily accessible from M25, M11, A406 & A13. Parking can be pre-booked at excel.london
By air: London City Airport is just 10 minutes from ExCeL

VISITING

Who should visit?

Casual Dining is a trade only event and is not open to the general public. Admission is strictly restricted to professional persons working in the industry. Proof of trade status may be requested.

Casual Dining is specifically designed for restaurants, pubs, contract caterers, wholesalers and the foodservice industry.

Can students attend?

No, students are not permitted to attend.

Can I bring my children?

No. This is a business event and entry is restricted to those people working in the industry.

How much does it cost to visit?

Admission to Casual Dining is free to visitors who register before 9.30am on Wednesday 28th February 2019. For those that haven’t pre-registered, an entry charge of £20 will apply on the door.

If you have an invitation from the show (such as a postcard, brochure, letter or email) then you can still register free by bringing it along to the show and registering on the door.

When will I receive my visitor badge?

Once registered you will receive an email confirmation with your ebadge. Please print this and bring it with you to the show. Registration will open later this year.

What if I lose my ebadge or confirmation email?

As long as you have registered you will be able to collect your badge onsite. Just ask one of the staff in the registration area and they will assist you. We will also send a badge reminder email before the show to all those registered to ensure they have their badge details handy.

Does my badge enable me to return to the show on another day or would I need to register again?

Your badge will be valid on both days of the show.

Can I approach exhibitors/visitors to sell my products?

No, the only people permitted to sell at Casual Dining are the exhibitors.
